The Five Steps of Lami-Coat Application. |

 |
|
Drain: The Pool is drained and left to dry for 2 days. (See Fig 1) |

Preparation: The surface is prepared with a power grinder. Special attention is given to all orifices, cracks, fittings, and problem areas. Next a protective line is cut around the edges of the tile, light, drain and fixtures. These lines are then filled in with a special compound called "Lami-Bond." Depending on the condition of the plaster surface, the final step of preparation is applied by rolling on a plaster protective coating called "Lami-1100." (See Fig 2, 3 & 4). |

Fiberglass Application: First we apply a coat of Lami-1400 resin over the clean and prepared surface. Next, we lay piece-by-piece Lami-Mat with a two-inch overlap that is saturated by an additional one layer of Lami-1400. When the surface is dry it is power grinded for any sharp points. The final stage of this process is the application of Lami-1500 protective Topcoat. (See Fig 5) |

Note: Lami-Mat (Fiber-Glass) consists of a 2oz. thickness.
Note: All coats are applied with special manufactured rollers followed by a rib roller. Hand rolled fiberglass is a slow and costly process but is safe and the right way to fiberglass a pool. Hand rolled fiberglass application has no over spray, no mess and will not damage your belongings.
Material: Every one of our containers are mixed, filtrated and pre-measured in our mixing facility. Pre-measured different catalyst are applied for different temperatures. |

 |
|
Curing Time: Five (5) days curing time is required.
NOTE: The surface cannot be washed or walked on during this time.
Inspection: During the curing period, the pool will be quality inspected for any abnormalities or imperfections. All the fixtures (jets, lights, drain covers, etc.) will be installed at this time. The client will also receive a Maintenance Guide and Warranty. (See Fig 6)
